Michael Mouse

After last month's Balloon Basement about "Bodies" I was asked what else can be done with these besides adding a 5" Imprint so this month I will show the cartoon type mouse balloon using the standard two balloon body but adding to it.

Balloons Needed

3 Black 260s, 1 White 260, 1 Blush 260 and 3 Black 5" Rounds. You can do this with 2 Black 5" Rounds and a scrap for the nose. I used a 5" Round because I grabbed three from my bag.

Start by fully inflating two of the Black 5" rounds and tying them together. Inflate the White 260 to about 6" and tie it off. Split it into two 3" Bubbles and wrap them around the ears. Tie them together at the bottom like so.

 Fully inflate one of the Black 260s, burp it well and tie it off. Tie it to the bottom of the eyes. Make a 3" bubble and wrap it around the ears. Make another 3" bubble and roll it through the two eyes so you have a head. Inflate the blush 260 leaving about a 6" tail and tie off. Make two 4" bubbles for the snout followed by three loop twists for the cheeks and lower jaw or mouth. Now just wrap a cheek around the black 260. Make a 1" bubble then a 1" ear twist in the black so you have this.

 Now make the two Balloon Body that I taught last month

 In case you didn't read last month's,

Inflate the last two Black 260s leaving a 1 to 2" tail. Make a 1" bubble then a 3" loop in both balloons. Make a 6" bubble in both balloons and twist together. Make a 6" bubble in both balloons and twist together. On the end of the black 260s make a 1" bubble then a 3" loop for his feet. You should have the standard two Balloon body.

 Take the head and one Balloon Body and make a bubble just below the mouth of the mouse. Twist it to the two Balloon Body. Make a 6" Bubble and twist it to the legs for the mouse's tail. Push the arms between the three bubble body so you have two bubbles in front and one in the back. Don't worry about his neck wobble you'll fix that with the white 260.

Inflate the rest of the White 260 leaving a 1" bubble. Make two 2" ear twists and wrap them around the neck. Bring the balloon down the center of the chest and wrap it around the waist. Pop and tie any leftover balloon. Puff the last 5" Round and tie it to the muzzle.

  Next month a Donkey using the 2 Balloon Body so be sure to get the following balloons.

 1 Blush (or pink) 6" Heart    Grey if you have watched a lot of Pooh DVDs

5 Betallatex Periwinkle 260 Balloons

(or Qualatex Spring Lilac or Pale Blue 260s)

1 Black 160

1 Rose 260Q or Fuchsia 260B
