Spider

Let's start with the new 5" Spider Eyes Top Print Balloon and make a spider.
For the Spider you will need
1 Black 260
2 Black 160s
1 Black 5" Round
1 5" Spider Eyes

Cut both of the 160s in half and fully inflate all four, burp them and tie them off (I assume you tied the ends before you tried to inflate them). Make a 2" bubble, a 1" ear twist, a 4" bubble, a 4" bubble, a 1" ear twist and a 2" bubble. Remove any remaining balloon.

Do the same with two more 160 halves. Now take the first piece of 160 and make the legs but this time put a 1" ear twist between the two 4" bubbles. Wrap the first set of legs around the ear twist.

Wrap another set of legs into the ear twist so you have 6 legs.

Take the 260 and inflate it leaving a 4" tail. Make two 8" bubbles and lock them together. Make two 1" bubbles and ear twist both of them. Lay the six legs on top of the two 8" bubbles. Make a 9" bubble and a 1" bubble, wrap the 1" bubble through the other two bubbles locking everything in place.

Inflate the 5" Spider Eyes to about 2" and tie to the two ear twists on the spider.

Inflate the Black 5" round to 4" and tie it to the back of the bird body.

Trick Or Treating Vampire

What's Halloween with out a Vampire or Dracula Costume? For this you will need
2 Black 260s
1 White 260
1 5" Dracula Head
1 5" Happy Jack
1 Lime Green 160

Inflate the 5" Happy Jack to 3" and tie it off. Inflate the Green 160 to about 6" and tie it, apple twist the Happy Jack and tie the knot of the green 160 around the knot in the Happy Jack to secure it. Make two 1" ear twists in the green 160 and bring the tail around to form a handle.

Inflate both black 260s leaving a 5" tail and tie off. In the first 260 make a 1" bubble and a 2" loop twist. Repeat with the second 260. Make a 5" bubble in each and twist them together. Make two 1" ear twists for a waist.

Make a 5" bubble in each and twist them together. Make two 1" ear twists for a neck.

At the end of one of the black balloons make a 1" bubble and a 2" loop for a hand. Repeat with the other black balloon but this time wrap the loop around the Lime Green 160 handle.

Inflate the 5" Dracula face to 3" and tie off. Inflate the White 260 to 4" and tie to the Dracula Face. Wrap the knot between the two ear twists that form his neck. Stretch the White balloon down and tie it at the waist like so.

Black Cat

And finally, you can't have Halloween without a black cat.
The Black Cat requires
2 Black 260s
1 Black 6" Heart Cat Face

Cut one of the 260s in half and fully inflate both halves (legs). Inflate the second 260 leaving a 3" tail, tie off and squeeze to soften. Fully inflate the 6" Black Heart cat face and tie it to the black 260. Make a 1" ear twist, twist one of the legs in half and twist it to the pinch twist. Make a 8" bird body and twist the other set of legs in here. The left over is the tail. He's super quick for line work.

Be sure to come to the basement next month and thanks for reading.
