Three blocks are shown to the audience. One is removed and placed inside a top hat or
other container to see if it will fit. It is then returned to the other blocks. Then all
three blocks are covered. When the cover is removed one of the three blocks has

To perform you show three 8 by 10 inch cards. One is a fluorescent red letter "A". The next card is a fluorescent yellow letter "B". The third card is a fluorescent green letter "C". The three cards are placed into a paper folder. The magician pulls out and displays on both sides, the letters "A" and "C". Now the magician boldly states that the "B" has vanished completely from the folder. The children however are quick to point out that they can see a corner of the card sticking from the folder. The Performer displays an empty double compartment box, with doors on front and top of box and a solid die.
The Die is place in one compartment and the audience is asked to remember where it is. The box is tilted and the doors to that compartment are opened and the die is seen to have vanished.
The audience is not impressed because they have heard the Die slide to the opposite compartment. They ask the magician to open the doors to the other compartment . The magician closes the doors to the first compartment then tilts the box ( the audience can hear the die sliding over) then opens the doors to the adjacent compartment to show that it is empty. Repeat this several times, then at the height of the excitement open all four doors and show the die has vanished. Finally make an invisible tossing motion towards a hat or container and produce the solid die.

Effect:
The performer shows 2 wooden rectangular tubes. One tube is lifted revealing a white
rabbit. The other tube is lifted revealing a black rabbit. The tubes are placed
back over the rabbits and there is some comic by-play about the rabbits
invisibly switching places and switching back again. The children demand to see
the switch, so the performer obviously turns each of the tubes around and lifts
them revealing that the rabbits have switched places and the white rabbit is
where the black rabbit was, and the black rabbit is where the white rabbit was.
There is more comic by-play switching the rabbits back and forth, until the kids
obviously realize that the performer is simply turning the rabbits around. More
comic by-play ensues until both the rabbits are finally turned around revealing
on the backs of the white rabbit and the black rabbit, rabbits of different
colors instead. The Performer then shows both tubes empty.
Performance Time: This is one of those tricks that you can extend as long
as your crowd will let you.
