Back to the Top Hippty Hop Rabbits Stage Size 14
inch Effect:
The performer shows 2 wooden rectangular tubes. One tube is lifted revealing a white
rabbit. The other tube is lifted revealing a black rabbit. The tubes are placed
back over the rabbits and there is some comic by-play about the rabbits
invisibly switching places and switching back again. The children demand to see
the switch, so the performer obviously turns each of the tubes around and lifts
them revealing that the rabbits have switched places and the white rabbit is
where the black rabbit was, and the black rabbit is where the white rabbit was.
There is more comic by-play switching the rabbits back and forth, until the kids
obviously realize that the performer is simply turning the rabbits around. More
comic by-play ensues until both the rabbits are finally turned around revealing
on the backs of the white rabbit and the black rabbit, rabbits of different
colors instead. The Performer then shows both tubes empty.

The magician explains that as a thank you gift, a group of children he once performed for sent him an illustrated deck of cards they'd made. Wonderful though this was, the cards weren't much good for performing with. So, to make the most of his gift, the magician changes the hand-illustrated cards into an honest-to-goodness factory printed deck! He dribbles through the deck - all the cards have changed.
With the brand new deck, a mind reading effect is demonstrated and proves a hit! Then, wracked with guilt at changing the beautiful gift into a model of magical conformity, the magician reverses the process, changing the cards back into the deck he started with - simply illustrated cards.
Each Kids Kards deck comes complete and ready to work. As you can see from the images, the artwork on the "kid" cards is charming - both the faces and backs have been custom printed and are perfectly in tune with the patter story of children designing a deck of cards.
The trick is nearly self-working, and fans of visual card magic will not be disappointed with the cards. Each set of Kids Kards is supplied with a custom printed box and directions by inventor Richard Pinner.

With a magic pass, the card is removed, but the water remains suspended in the inverted pot! After the trick the water can be poured out from the pot. You have defied gravity and Newton's Law's!
